What we collect
Your account (email, username, display name, photo and phone number if you add one), your messages and media, call history (never call audio) and your notification settings.
How we protect it
All traffic uses HTTPS and encrypted WebSocket connections. Data is encrypted at rest and access is restricted by strict per-row rules, so nobody can read another person's conversations.
Calls
Voice and video flow directly between participants over WebRTC with DTLS-SRTP encryption. When a direct path is impossible a relay is used; call content is never stored.
Your phone number
Your number is never shown to other users except as allowed by the privacy setting you choose.
Retention and deletion
You can export your data or permanently delete your account from Settings at any time.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. We use infrastructure providers solely to operate the service.
